Mrs Ana Maria Castro

I am a qualified counsellor with a BA and MSc in Psychology and over seven years of clinical experience, offering individual therapy, counselling, hypnotherapy, and relationship counselling for adults. I am a registered member of the NCPS and work with clients in English and Portuguese, both online worldwide and face-to-face in Marylebone, London. My clinical background includes work with leading organisations such as the NHS and Spring Health, giving me experience across a range of presenting difficulties and client circumstances. I hold a particular interest in self-esteem, which I frequently find underpins many of the emotional challenges clients bring to therapy. My areas of special interest include social anxiety, relationship issues, imposter syndrome, depression, burnout, career counselling, divorce, generalised and health anxiety, loneliness, postpartum depression, perfectionism, and procrastination. Having navigated personal challenges of my own, I understand the courage it takes to seek support, and I aim to offer a warm, genuine relationship where you feel safe and accepted without judgement.
