How quickly will my patient be seen?

Most referred patients are matched with a suitable therapist within 48 hours and offered an appointment the same week. Urgent referrals are prioritised. Our team will contact both you and your patient within one business day of receiving the referral.
What services can I refer for?

You can refer for individual therapy, couples and family therapy, psychiatry consultations, and a full range of neurodevelopmental assessments including ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and neuropsychological evaluations. All services are available online UK-wide and in-person across London.
Do you accept insurance-funded referrals?

Yes. Many of our therapists are registered with major private health insurers including Bupa, AXA, Cigna, WPA, Vitality, and Allianz. Please indicate the funding source on the referral form and our team will verify cover before the first appointment.
How do you handle clinical information and patient confidentiality?

Yes. While our in-person clinics are in London, all our therapists offer online video sessions UK-wide. Patients anywhere in the UK can access therapy, psychiatry, and assessments through Mind a Porter.
What happens after I submit the referral?

Our admin team reviews every referral within one business day. We will contact your patient to arrange a suitable appointment, match them with the most appropriate therapist based on their needs, and keep you informed of the outcome. You can contact us at any time for an update.
Is there a cost to refer?

No. There is no charge for submitting a referral. Your patient pays for their own sessions directly, or through their private health insurer. We will confirm all fees with your patient before their first appointment.
